Thank you for the ideas, I think I might try to find my little one that Duplo kit too as she loves construction vehicles.
My niece loved the Detective Beans graphic novel last year when she was 7.
Froggy a pond full of pals is a great graphic novel for all ages. My one year old absolutely loved it but I would recommend it for the 6 to 9 year old independent reader in particular.
The Great Puptective is also a great little graphic novel for the 5 to 7 age range.
Donut the Destroyer is good for the 10 to 13 range I would say. The Percy Jackson series is also great for this age range.
As one of the other comments mentioned yoto players particularly the mini version great. My one year old loves Songs for little Pirates and I think it is a card that would definitely be liked by a five year old too. They also have a daily podcast that is free and is great. There are draw along activities and meditation exercises. I have seen some Christian cards too.
We got our 13 year old nephew a paint your own football ⚽ (soccer) ball lamp which was a big hit and I can see younger children enjoying something like that too, they have paint your own planets too.
Tye dye kits were also a hit when our oldest nice and nephew were in the 9 to 14 age range.

We gifted my youngest daughter the same melissa and doug ice cream shop. And she plays with the constantly still almost a year later. Amazing newly enough we still have all the pieces. But she absolutely loves it and I agree that that would be a great gift. And my older daughter loves those selling kids for kids. I’m going to look up the one your daughter did with the balloon that’s really cute. We gave her last year for Christmas some animals sewing kits.

Yes the Melissa and Doug Ice Cream Shop covers ages 1-10. My grandkids play with it often and we also have most all of the pieces after at least 4 years.
